The Bad Lament is Michelle Brown, an Australian based new media and VR artist focused on virtual and interactive art and creating storytelling experiences in the extended reality space. She is known for creating VR music videos, mixed media installations, augmented reality and digital art. Michelle has exhibited internationally and around Australia, online through CannesXR, MOR, Toronto New Wave Festival, STARMUS Festival and more. Her work explores the combined digital and physical space by creating site-specific relationships between virtual media and the environment. She focuses on utilizing digital technologies to experiment with visual storytelling to transform subjects and reshape the perception of space, inviting viewers to visualize alternative realities.
